Kristi Avalos, and her husband Thomas, are the Founders of Bethel Village Foundation. They have had a long standing dream to help people find and use their strengths and help them become happier and more profitable in their lives.
Many people feel like they never actually "made it" in their lives and Kristi set out to prove that every person matters in life. EVERYONE., no matter where they've been and Bethel Cannon Ranch is being developed just for that purpose.
When Kristi learned the potential fate of the Old Western Town and that it was in threat of being bulldozed down, she instantly saw the parallel between what those buildings once meant to the community and what they could mean again with a little TLC.
Bringing these old buildings to life is a parallel to bringing people back to life. We all need a little boost these days, just think what we can do together.
We all used to be something. Now we're something else but we may not have seen the best of ourselves just yet. We hope you will come be part of this journey. and bring out the best we all have to offer.
Thomas, like Kristi, has a heart for people. He sees potential where others may not and that's how he feels about this old western town.
Breathing new life into this old town and making it a gem for all of North Texas is no small task, but it's a task worthy of undertaking.
By preserving a little slice of history we have the opportunity for kids to learn and adults to remember about who we are, where we came from and how far we have come. This old western town is to be cherished and we intend to do that.
